        The Listing or Preview Appointment

The first step toward putting your house up for sale is to meet with your RealStar Sales Consultant during a 'listing appointment.'

Prior to or at the listing appointment, your RealStar Sales Consultant may ask to preview the house to become familiar with its special features.

At the appointment the RealStar Sales Consultant will show you their analysis of recent neighborhood sales of homes comparable to yours, and also comparable homes currently for sale.  Their search will even include tax records data, which reveals sales information not usually sought after by the public or other Realtors.

LISTING AGREEMENT
When the home seller is ready to put the house on the market, the listing agreement is filled out indicating a specific period of time the agreement is in effect ('listing period'), and signed by the seller. You've now hired a RealStar Sales Consultant.

Illinois Law now requires that sellers provide buyers with a variety of disclosures including, but not limited to, residential property disclosures, lead based paint disclosure, mold disclosure, etc.  Your RealStar Sales Consultant can explain the purpose of each required disclosure.
RealStar Realty uses the same MLS other Realtors do.

Your property info is instantly available to all Realtors and 1000's of potential buyers
